Corn Belt Feedstuffs
Wholesale Bids.  Truck or Rail dollars per ton.

   Feedstuff prices were mostly steady to lower for the week.  Some ingredients

reacted to the lower corn and soybeans, while feeds that saw slight gains were

due to tight supplies.  Alfalfa pellets and meal saw slight losses as productio
n
is starting to get back to normal following the holiday.

   SOYBEAN MEAL:  48 percent rail was 4.70-11.70 lower from 175.70-178.70 per
ton.  48 percent truck was 5.70 lower from 180.70-187.70 per ton.
   CORN BY-PRODUCTS:  Gluten Feed 21 percent, FOB Midwest barge was 2.00-3.00
lower from 75.00-80.00 per ton; rail was 1.00-5.00 lower from 80.00-87.00 per
ton; truck was 5.00-10.00 higher from 85.00-104.00 per ton; weighted average
was
1.18 lower at 82.28.  Weighted average price based on the movement volume by
transportation method.  60 percent Gluten Meal, FOB Midwest was steady to 5.00
higher mostly 320.00-330.00.  Hominy Feed, Central Illinois Point rail was
3.00-
6.00 higher from 98.00-108.00 per ton; trucks were 4.00-12.50 higher from
105.00-115.00 per ton.  Crude Corn Oil was 50 cents lower from 27.50-28.50
cents
per pound.
   MILLFEEDS:  Chicago was 10.00-20.00 lower from 92.00-105.00 per ton; Buffalo

was 9.00-12.00 higher from 85.00-96.00 per ton.
   DISTILLER'S DRIED GRAINS:  Illinois was steady from 115.00-130.00 per ton;
Chicago was 2.00 lower 2.00 higher from 125.00-128.00 per ton; Lawrenceburg, IN

was steady at 118.00 per ton; Nebraska was not available; Minnesota was steady

to 5.00 lower from 115.00-130.00 per ton; Kansas was steady from 130.00-135.00

per ton.  Iowa was steady to 4.00 lower from 120.00-130.00 per ton.  Northern
Missouri was steady to 7.00 lower from 128.00-140.00 per ton.
   ALFALFA PELLETS:  Toledo, Ohio 17 percent dehydrated was steady to 2.00
lower
at 208.00 per ton; meal was 2.00 lower at 212.00 without oil, 215.00 with 1/2
percent, and 218.00 with 1 percent oil.  Sun-Cured 15 percent pellets were 2.00

lower at 205.50; meal was 2.00 lower at 209.50 without oil, 212.50 with 1/2
percent, and 215.50 with 1 percent oil.
