Corn Belt Feedstuffs
Wholesale Bids.  Truck or Rail dollars per ton.

   Feedstuff prices were mostly steady to lower for the week.  Demand light for

most ingredients with supplies readily available.  The corn-belt has received
sufficient moisture keeping crops and pastures green.  Temperatures have cooled

down this week seeing highs of 70 and 80s.  Millfeeds were slightly higher as
buyers scramble for product before the long holiday weekend.

   SOYBEAN MEAL:  48 percent rail was 23.80 higher from 425.30-436.30 per ton.
48 percent truck was 21.80-23.80 higher from 430.30-440.30 per ton.
   CORN BY-PRODUCTS:  Gluten Feed 21 percent, FOB Midwest barge was steady to
10.00 lower from 55.00-65.00 per ton; rail was steady to 3.00 lower from 65.00-

85.00 per ton; truck was steady to 2.00 higher from 75.00-94.00 per ton;
weighted average was 1.89 lower at 73.11 per ton.  Weighted average price based

on the movement volume by transportation method.  60 percent Gluten Meal, FOB
Midwest was 30.00-35.00 lower from 540.00-670.00, mostly 650.00-680.00 per ton.

Hominy Feed, Central Illinois Point rail was steady to 10.00 lower from 102.00-

115.00 per ton; trucks were steady to 10.00 lower from 107.00-123.50 per ton.
Crude Corn Oil was 50 points lower from 38.00-39.00 cents per pound.
   MILLFEEDS:  Chicago was 2.00-3.00 higher from 87.00-90.00 per ton;  Buffalo
was 5.00-7.00 higher from 85.00-90.00 per ton.
   DISTILLER'S DRIED GRAINS:  Eastern Corn-belt was 1.00-13.00 lower from
127.00-152.00 per ton; Chicago area was 1.00 lower to 5.00 higher from 143.50-
150.00 per ton; Lawrenceburg, IN was steady at 115.00 per ton; Nebraska was
6.00-20.00 lower from 108.00-125.00 per ton; Minnesota was 10.00-16.00 lower
from 107.00-120.00 per ton; Kansas was 5.00-18.00 lower from 100.00-110.00 per
ton.  Iowa was 10.00 lower from 120.00-130.00 per ton.  Northern Missouri was
5.00-8.00 lower from 115.00-130.00 per ton.
   ALFALFA PELLETS:  Toledo, Ohio 17 percent dehydrated were steady from
265.00-
275.00 per ton; meal was steady from 269.00-279.00 per ton, with 1/2 percent
oil
from 272.00-282.00 per ton, and with 1 percent oil from 275.00-285.00 per ton.
