***CORRECTION ON CENTRAL ILLINOIS CORN AND SOYBEANS***

Illinois Grain Prices at Country Elevators

This is Thursday's report of the grain prices and trends prepared by the
USDA and the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

Illinois country grain prices were lower on Thursday afternoon. Corn
and soybean futures ended lower despite strong export sales figures
this week. Fund selling contributed to lower grain prices. Weekly
export sales figures for corn totaled 1.15 million metric tonnes and
soybeans were at 2.90 million making both higher than trade expectations.

In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled
corn bids 9 to 14 cents lower at 3.18-3.28. Soybean bids were mostly 9
to 16 cents lower at 11.38-11.55.

In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were
11 to 15 cents lower at 3.21-3.32. Soybean bids were 15 to 16 cents lower
at 11.25-11.36.

In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 11 to 17
cents lower at 3.24-3.43. Soybean bids were mostly 11 to 15 cents lower
at 11.21-11.55. Wheat bids were 37 to 41 cents lower at 3.20-3.36. Milo
bids were 8 to 14 cents lower at 2.73-2.88.

Commercial grain prices paid farmers by Interior Illinois Country Elevators
after 2.00 p.m. today are listed below in dollars per bushel:
