Illinois Grain Prices at Country Elevators

This is Tuesday's report of the grain prices and trends prepared by the
USDA and the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

Illinois country grain prices were mixed on Tuesday afternoon, with
soybeans higher and corn and wheat lower. The continuation of the
farmer strike in Argentina supported higher soybean prices at the Board
of Trade.

In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled
corn bids 1 to 2 cents lower at 3.63-3.68. Soybean bids were 11 to 15
cents higher at 9.45-9.60.

In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were
2 cents lower at 3.64-3.76. Soybean bids were 12 cents higher at
9.49-9.58.

In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 1 to 2 cents
lower at 3.66-3.84. Soybean bids were 11 to 12 cents higher at 9.53-9.62.
Wheat bids were 6 to 12 cents lower at 4.35-4.57. Milo bids were mostly
2 to 5 cents lower at 2.94-3.35.

Commercial grain prices paid farmers by Interior Illinois Country Elevators
after 2.00 p.m. today are listed below in dollars per bushel:
